We are pleased to finally reschedule our workshop, kadō: the way of flowers- Centerpiece Edition. In this workshop you will spend a beautiful afternoon learning how to express yourself through flowers in creating your very own ikebana influenced, no floral foam arrangement that represents you. You will be guided by Kiki, the creator behind Hanaki Floral with a design and technical demonstration, followed by hands on session. Students will be working with seasonal locally grown and imported specialty flowers and materials!  After creating your centerpiece, you will learn tips and tricks on how to style and take photos of your work! A professional photographer will be there to photograph the workshop and your work as well. 

This workshop is open to all levels of floral experience. All materials, supplies, and tools are included! 

Travel and accommodations not included.

You will receive from this workshop:

-Design and technical floral tips and tricks on creating your arrangement

-Your creation that you can take home

-Styling and natural light photography tips and guide

-Professional photos of the workshop and your work that can be used for your portfolio

After registration, you will receive information package for the workshop.

Due to Covid, this workshop will be limited to a small group of attendees only. Hand sanitizing station will be set up and we will keep social distancing as much as possible.

1:1 Private Hanaki Workshop


Our 1 on 1 workshop is a 1 day private hands on workshop for enthusiasts or professionals seeking to learn or improve on floral design and techniques. The workshop will be taught personally by Kiki.

Workshop Options:

A) Hand-tied Bouquet (Bridal/ Editorial style) & Floral Installation (No floral foam)

B) Foam Free Arrangement/centerpiece & Floral Installation (No floral foam)

C) Hand-tied Bouquet (Bridal/ Editorial style) & Foam free Arrangement /centerpiece & Floral Installation (No floral foam)

Each workshop is tailor-made and typically lasts about 4-7 hours.

Flowers, supplies, and tools are all included. 

Snacks and refreshments included throughout the day.

Students work will be photographed and edited photos will be emailed to the student after the workshop. Photos can be used for portfolio purposes.
